"Who Angered You That Much?" How Former LSK President Reacted To Ruto's Verbal Attack On The Opposition

There has been a serious debate in the country after a move by President William Ruto that was unprecedented, saw the Head of State verbally attack the members of the United Opposition led by his former Deputy Rigathi Gachagua.

The President shocked many when he described the former Deputy President as a tribal leader who thrives in dividing Kenyans. The President also went further to link the former Deputy to the death of a young girl called Maureen years back.

While critics have termed President Ruto's blatant attack towards Gachagua and the opposition as unpresidential, a section of Kenyans have defended him by saying he was only provoked by the members of the United Opposition.

The President has in another statement, while defending his remarks stated that if the opposition decides to attack him on insults, he will respond in like manner as he did.

Among those that have reacted to the statement by the President is the former LSK President Nelson Havi.

Speaking through his official X page, the popular city Lawyer was careful in the use of his words only questioning who has angered the President to such a extent.

"Who is that, that has angered and offended the President of the Republic of Kenya that much?" Questioned the former LSK Chair in his reaction to the verbal altercation between President William Ruto and those within the opposition.
