President: William Ruto "drew cheers and laughter after briefly dancing to the popular song playing through the public address, during the rollout of "NYOTA "Funds to beneficiaries at the "Jomo Kenyatta" International Stadium in Kisumu County.

The moment came as the President interacted with youths, women, and small business owners who had gathered for the official disbursement of the government-backed funds.

As the song played through the public address system, The President joined the rhythm, delighting the crowd and creating a relaxed atmosphere at the event.

The rollout marked a key milestone in the Funding programme, which is designed to support young entrepreneurs and small-scale traders through affordable financing, training, and mentorship. 

Speaking at the stadium, the President said the initiative was meant to unlock opportunities for job creation and strengthen household incomes across the country.

He urged beneficiaries to use the funds responsibly and focus on sustainable businesses that could grow and employ others. 

The Head of State emphasized that the government was committed to empowering citizens at the grassroots level rather than relying on handouts.
