Homabay County Governor Hon Gladys Wanga, who doubles as the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party chairperson, has today defended the Linda Ground ODM faction led by the party leader Dr Oburu Odinga against criticism, over their alliance talks with President William Ruto.
In her latest statement today morning as quoted by Kenyans.co.ke, Wanga argued that there is nowhere that the late former Prime Minister and ODM leader Raila Odinga said that they are traitors, for negotiating with President William Ruto.
Therefore they are not traitors of the people of Kenya inside the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party, for negotiating with the incumbent President William Ruto for a coalition deal ahead of next year's general elections.
According to her, the ODM party is led by the decisions made within its structures. Therefore they are utilising that avenue of structures to talks with President William Ruto before entering into a coalition with UDA.
