A section of Nairobi leaders has rallied behind President William Ruto amid growing criticism over his recent remarks targeting opposition figures during his tour of Western Kenya.
The leaders, drawn from various political affiliations within the capital, defended the President, arguing that his statements were taken out of context and unfairly amplified by his critics.
They maintained that Ruto was merely responding to persistent attacks from opposition leaders, insisting that he has a right to defend his administration and development record.
