ODM Politician Questions The DCI On Failure To Arrest Former DP Rigathi Gachagua

Even as the political temperatures in the country continue to heighten ahead of the 2027 elections and the ongoing by-elections, the leaders of the opposition have been putting a spirited campaign against President William Ruto and calling on Kenyans not to support President Ruto's reelection.

Speaking through his official X page, a vocal ODM politician, Robert Alai has now argued that the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been preaching nothing but enthnic hate and attacking President William Ruto.

According to the ODM Legislator, the conduct of the opposition has continued to prove that President William Ruto was right when he fired at them and even accused them of being foolish.

Alai has accused the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC), of watching the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua preach ethnic hate but failing to take any action against him. 

''He is now attacking those that are not there. Preaching ethnic hate and NCIC is watching from the sidelines.'' Stated the vocal legislator.

In another message that was directed to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Alai has insisted that the former Deputy President has to be held responsible for his utterances.

Alai has even argued that the DCI has made the former DP Rigathi Gachagua feel like he is beyond being arrested. 

''To the DCI, you need to hold Gachagua responsible. I wonder why you make him think he can’t be arrested.'' Added the vocal ODM legislator.
