"Wako 1000" Dismissed Nun Confesses Men Sends Her Marriage Proposal Messages Inbox, Leaks Chats

A former Catholic sister, Reverend Annastacia Shako, has caused a stir online after revealing that hundreds of men have been sending her marriage proposals since she was dismissed from her religious duties.

The ex-nun, who became famous after opening up about the struggles faced by some religious women, said she was shocked by the sudden attention she has received.

Annastacia, who had served faithfully in the church for years, explained that after sharing her personal story, her inbox was flooded with messages from men — some genuine, others just seeking attention.

In a recent post that quickly went viral, she shared screenshots of a few of the messages with the caption “Wako 1000” (meaning “There are a thousand of them”).

The phrase has since become a trending tag among social media users, used to describe people who suddenly become popular or admired after leaving strict environments.

According to Annastacia, some men have been expressing deep love and promising to treat her like a queen, while others write poetic letters claiming she was sent by God to be their wife.

“At first, I thought it was a joke,” she said. “But now, my inbox is full every morning. I can’t even reply to everyone.”

Her revelation sparked a wave of reactions online. Many women warned her to be careful, reminding her that not all the men reaching out were sincere. Others encouraged her to follow her heart and find happiness beyond the convent walls.

“I never knew leaving the church would make me this popular,” Annastacia laughed in one of her posts.

“I’m still adjusting to this new life. Maybe this is just God’s way of showing me another kind of calling.”

Supporters described her as bold and real, praising her for breaking silence about what many women in religious life go through quietly.

Her story has also reignited debates about celibacy, freedom, and the emotional challenges faced by nuns.

While she hasn’t revealed if she plans to accept any of the proposals, Annastacia says she is grateful for the love and prayers sent her way.

“Wako 1000,” she joked again, “but I’m still praying for the right one.”
