Things Reportedly Not Good in Raila's Party as Nyanza Governor Makes This Brave Revelation

Siaya Governor James Orengo has now revealed that there is no freedom of speech in the Raila Odinga-led Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party.

He has termed this one of the reasons he believes the Orange party might not live for more years to come, unless this changes.

“The question and element of the core principle and ethos of the party and its political blueprint are very crucial," he said on Nation FM Wednesday.

"An example is if at all every member can freely express his opinion without fear, which I feel is not really the case."

Orengo stressed the need to embrace dissenting voices, like Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, warning that losing him might have serious consequences.

He as well claimed the party is at the moment based on specific individuals and not ideologies, another thing he believes needs to change if ODM is to serve Kenyans for many more years to come.
