This was the case for a young man, popularly known online as 11days, who recently shared how his new relationship ended almost as soon as it started.
The story, which he posted on TikTok, has since gone viral, sparking heated debate among social media users.
According to his post, 11days had promised his new girlfriend that he would show up to see her in a Mercedes-Benz.
Excited by the idea, the lady imagined he would arrive in one of the latest luxury models such as a G-Wagon or a sleek C-Class.
Her expectations, however, came crashing down when he pulled up in an old vintage Mercedes-Benz.
The video, captioned “Vintage,” quickly attracted thousands of views.
In leaked WhatsApp chats, the girlfriend expressed her anger and embarrassment, accusing him of misleading her.
“When you said Mercedes, I thought you meant a new one, not that old car. Don’t ever come here with it again,” she complained. Click here.
