Photo of Kenyan Truck Driver Beaten to Death After Allegedly Hitting & Killing A Man in DRC

A family in Eldoret has called for investigations following the death of their kin who was beaten to death after allegedly killing a resident with his trailer.

According to the reports given by the family of the deceased who has been identified as John Mweresi a long distance driver, he was beaten and killed in broad daylight for running over a Congolese who was sleeping under his trailer.

The body of the deceased was flown back to the country, an incident that caught the attention of his fellow drivers who urged the government under President William Ruto to address his death.

"We would like to call upon the government under President William Ruto to ensure that all Kenyans who are working in other countries are safe. Whatever happened to him is not okay, he was beaten to death in broad daylight after running over, killing a Citizen even though they don't know who was on the wrong side. " - Kenyan Drivers. 

This is happening at the same time when Labor CS Alfred Mutua has sent his condolences to the family and friends of 55-Year-Old Zaituni Kavaya who died after allegedly falling from the 5th floor of an apartment in Kilimani, Nairobi.

Sources have confirmed that the deceased had gone to Kilimani to do laundry for a Sudanese family, she was accused of stealing ksh 5, 000 from a trouser she had washed and when confronted, she allegedly jumped over the Bulcon in attempts to flee, she fell and died.

CS Mutua who immediately spoke after the incident sent his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, he also called upon the Police to speed up investigations into the death of the deceased whose body was taken to the mortuary by Police officers who visited the scene of the incident after being alerted by the residents.
