He said Kalonzo has been a true friend to Raila for many years. Wamalwa reminded people that Kalonzo has supported Raila in three elections without asking for much.
“If there is one politician who has always helped Raila Odinga, it is Kalonzo Musyoka,” Wamalwa said.
“In the last three elections, Kalonzo stood by Raila.”
Wamalwa said it is now time for Raila to support Kalonzo. He said the Kamba community has always supported Raila because of Kalonzo.
He believes that this support should be remembered and rewarded.
“I believe the help that Kalonzo and the Kamba people gave to Raila will not be forgotten. When the right time comes, we will talk to Raila and ask him to also help Kalonzo. We want to work together and form the next government,” Wamalwa said.
Wamalwa said the opposition leaders must work as a team. He said they should not fight each other.
He believes that if they support each other, they can win the next election. He also said Kalonzo has waited for a long time and now he wants to lead.
Many people who support Kalonzo are now saying it is his turn to be the main candidate in the next election. They say he has helped others and now others must help him.
Wamalwa told other leaders not to be selfish. He said the country needs change, and that change will only come if the opposition is united. He said they must stop fighting and start planning how to win.
His message was very simple: Kalonzo helped Raila many times, so now Raila should help Kalonzo.
