IPOA, SRC Announce New Job Opportunities, How to Apply

Several government agencies have opened new job opportunities for Kenyans, calling on qualified individuals to send in their applications before the set deadlines.

On Tuesday, September 23, the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA), the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC), and the Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) were among the institutions that advertised vacancies across different departments.

At IPOA, six job positions were declared vacant. They include Investigations Officer II, Principal Legal Officer, and Senior Assistant Director for Internal Audit and Risk.

In addition, the authority is seeking three Principal Investigations Officers. Applicants are required to submit their applications online through the IPOA careers portal before October 14, 2025, at 5:00 pm.

The Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) is seeking to hire a Head of Human Resources and Administration at Level RL3.

The commission emphasized that all applications must be made strictly through its E-recruitment portal.

Hard copy and email submissions will not be accepted. Interested candidates must apply before October 9, 2025.

The commission also reminded applicants that they must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution, including presenting valid clearance certificates.

The Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) also announced opportunities for both young graduates and experienced professionals.

The institution is offering four internship slots, five permanent or part-time jobs, and 25 contractual positions.

TUM urged interested candidates to carefully review the details provided on its jobs portal before applying. The deadline for submission is October 6, 2025.

In their notices, all the institutions encouraged Kenyans to read the job descriptions thoroughly and ensure they meet the qualifications before applying.

Applicants are also advised to keep track of the closing dates, as late submissions will not be considered.

These announcements come at a time when many Kenyans continue to search for employment opportunities in a tight job market.

The openings present a chance for graduates and professionals to secure meaningful work in reputable state agencies.

Kenyans interested in the jobs can find more details, including duties, responsibilities, and application guidelines, on the official websites of IPOA, SRC, and TUM.
