Another prominent Kenyan has predicted tough times ahead for President William Ruto, foreseeing a revolution against him and his administration.
This is former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga, who is also not happy with how Ruto is running the country and his his government is handling things.
He says that Ruto has gone back to the things former president Daniel Moi did, and the result will be an uprising and revolution as Kenyans reject his actions.
Mutunga has cited foreign domination, exploitation, oppression, and attacks on our sovereignty as a people, saying that very little has been done by Ruto to fully implement the 2010 constitution.
He has predicted that after the said revolution, there will be put in place a fresh group of leaders, who are the ones who will finally do the right thing.
"As surely as I see an uprising in Kenya on the horizon I can also see such an alternative political leadership on the horizon. That is my prophecy," he wrote in The Star on Wednesday.
"In both periods we have witnessed foreign domination, exploitation, oppression, and attacks on our sovereignty as a people. We remain in a slave plantation called Kenya where the national rulers or agents are what Malcolm X famously called “house niggers.”
He stated that therefore, the people in power, who are out to ensure that Moi's 100-year KANU rule prediction is fulfilled, should know that things will soon change and a better team will take over.
"They should know there will be in this country a national democratic revolution under the leadership of a political leadership that is, at a minimum, anti-imperialism and anti-comprador bourgeoisie. The latter rule the country as agents of the latter," he said.
His prediction comes days after a similar prediction was made by former Mukurweini Member of Parliament Kabando Wa Kabando.
