A dark cloud has fallen over Nandi County following the sudden death of a young teacher who lost her life in a tragic road accident while on her way home.
The teacher, identified as Naomy Jelimo and fondly known as Nikita, taught at Nandi Hills Primary School and was also pursuing further studies at Mt. Kenya University.

According to reports from the scene, Naomy was riding on a motorbike in Eldoret when she was fatally hit by a speeding truck.
