South Africa-based Ugandan businesswoman and socialite Zari Hassan is counting her blessings after being involved in a road accident that left her luxury vehicle badly damaged.
The celebrity, popularly known as the “Boss Lady,” shared the shocking news with her followers on social media. Zari posted a photo of her white Range Rover showing the extent of the damage.
The front bumper was crushed, the driver’s side wheel detached, and parts of the headlight shattered, leaving the car almost unrecognizable.
Despite the wreckage, Zari confirmed she walked away without any physical injuries.
“Need a whole new Range,” she wrote in one of her posts, before adding another message of gratitude: “Alhamdulillah. Allah knows best. It could have been worse.”
The news sparked a wave of reactions from fans across Africa. Many rushed to her page to thank God for her safety, while others noted how serious the accident looked.
One follower commented, “God above all, thank Him you are alive.”
Another added, “That was bad, Amen.” Others, however, joked about her quick mention of needing a new luxury car instead of focusing on surviving the crash.
“Instead of saying thanks to God, she is asking for a new Range Rover,” one user remarked, sparking a heated debate.
Still, the majority of her fans expressed relief that she escaped unharmed. Messages such as “Christ is King, the final answer to all our troubles,” and “Thanks to God she is alive,” filled her comment section.
Zari Hassan, who divides her time between Uganda and South Africa, has built a strong reputation as one of East Africa’s most influential celebrities.
With millions of followers online, every move she makes captures the attention of fans and gossip blogs. Her lavish lifestyle, successful businesses, and past high-profile relationships often keep her in the headlines.
This accident has once again reminded fans of the risks that come with life on the road, regardless of status or wealth.
Some urged her to take caution, while others speculated that her car could still be repaired despite the heavy damage.
Interestingly, Zari’s ordeal came around the same time Tanzanian singer Mbosso was also involved in a scary incident.
During a music video shoot, Mbosso attempted a risky stunt by jumping over a barrier into a lake. Unfortunately, his leg struck the barrier, causing him to lose balance and fall into the water.
Crew members rushed to his aid and pulled him out using a small boat. Luckily, Mbosso was also unharmed and later assured his fans that he was fine.
While Zari expressed sadness over losing her cherished car, she made it clear that her life is worth far more than any possession.
“Allah knows best,” she reminded her fans, signaling her gratitude for surviving what could have been a tragic moment.
