Speaking during the celebration, the MP used his moment to dispense his economics knowledge to the attendees where he touched on the debt problem bedeviling our country, Kenya.
According to Hon. Nyoro, the currently popularized government project NYOTA (National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement) is being funded by the World Bank.
He added that the funds are not part the debts that the government is borrowing on daily basis but among the funds that Kenyans needs to know their sources.
"...Mkiona programme inaitwa NYOTA (National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement) ni pesa ya World Bank," Nyoro said.
According to Nyoro, the government is borrowing approximately Kes 3.5 - 4 billions on daily bases with little to show with the funds.
This has resulted to the rising debt situation in the country with it's interest repayment now taking upto 75% of the country budget.
He went ahead and warned those in leadership against involving politics with the economic management of the country, Kenya since in the future, it will have the worst economic repercussions to the citizens.
