"You Can't Go Nuclear Without Clean Running Water" Miguna Reacts To Orengo's Statement

Prominent Kenyan activist and lawyer Miguna Miguna has sharply criticised remarks by James Orengo regarding Kenya’s path to becoming a first-world country.

The Siaya governor argued that Kenya still faces deep structural and governance challenges that make “first world” status unrealistic in the near term.

However, he stunned many by saying that Kenya should start thinking of going nuclear in case they would like to achieve first-world status.

Dr Miguna, however, disagreed with Orengo's proposal, saying that a country that cannot provide the basics to its citizens has no reason to go nuclear.
