"You're Attacking Me Yet I'm The One Who Helped You Win ICC Case" Kalonzo Tells Ruto

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka today strongly criticized President William Ruto during a rally in Nairobi.

Speaking to supporters, Kalonzo said the President has been attacking opposition leaders instead of focusing on the problems facing Kenyans. He said the political environment in the country is not safe for leaders who disagree with the government.

Kalonzo reminded the crowd about the 2023 protests in Mathare. He claimed that during those protests, he and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga were almost killed.

“In 2023, Raila and I were almost killed in Mathare during the protests. That should never happen in a democratic country,” Kalonzo told the crowd.

He also said he once supported Ruto during his case at the International Criminal Court (ICC). Kalonzo said he stood by Ruto at that time, but now the President is attacking him and other opposition leaders.

“I helped him during the ICC case. I stood with him when he needed support. It is sad that today he is fighting us,” Kalonzo said.

The Wiper leader said the opposition will not be scared. He promised to continue speaking out and defending the rights of Kenyans.

Many supporters attended the rally and cheered as Kalonzo spoke. The event showed that political campaigns and debates are becoming stronger as leaders prepare for the future.
