According to reports, the renowned politician, who was speaking on March 27, 2026, said he was tired of waiting and referred to the President as a dictator.
He affirmed that the life of the head of state should be made uncomfortable, adding that June 24 is coming.
It is to be noted that June 24 was declared an anniversary for the young people who were killed during the protests against the proposed 2024 finance bill.
"June 24 is coming. We must all go out to remove a dictator. I'm tired of waiting. You must make his life uncomfortable," Siaya County Governor James Orengo said.
The Governor also accused the President of taking over the Orange Democratic Movement party, alleging that this is one of the main reasons why he wants Nairobi County Senator Edwin Sifuna to be removed as ODM Secretary General.
He called for unity within the Linda Mwananchi movement, adding that they are true followers of the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
His remarks on the removal of a dictator sparked mixed reactions from a section of Kenyans who took to social media platforms to speak on this.
