He had been arrested on Monday but later fell ill allegedly from the mistreatment he got form the police during the arrest. Throughout the night he was under watch by the doctors before being taken to ICU on Tuesday morning.
Kalonzo Musyoka and his team visited him at the hospital and when he entered his room he was dissatisfied. Kalonzo revealed that even at the hospital Tuju was under intense police protection like he was a criminal.
Through a post on his X page Kalonzo called on President Ruto to order the police be removed from the hospital and help him protect his property from the daylight grabbing going on.
Kalonzo has stood with Tuju from the start of his predicaments. He was with him when he recorded a statement at the Karen police station last week when the case first came out.
