"I Don't Know Him" Speculations As Odinga Sets Record Straight On Oketch Salah After Recent Claims

Kisumu County politician Ruth Odinga has publicly distanced herself from businessman Oketch Salah, saying she barely knows him despite his claims suggesting otherwise.

Speaking candidly, Odinga expressed surprise that Salah has repeatedly implied familiarity with her, insisting their interactions have been extremely limited over the years.

According to Odinga, her encounters with Salah can be counted on one hand. She stated that throughout her life, she has only met him about three times, brief moments that did not amount to any meaningful relationship.

Because of this, she maintains there is no basis for portraying them as close associates or acquaintances.

Odinga emphasized that she prefers not to be drawn into conversations surrounding Salah. In her view, continuing public discussion risks creating a false impression about the nature of their connection.

She made it clear that she does not wish to fuel speculation or lend credibility to narratives she considers inaccurate.

Her remarks come amid growing online chatter linking the two figures, prompting her to set the record straight.

Odinga said she values honesty in public discourse and believes it is important to clarify misunderstandings before they spiral into accepted fact.

By addressing the issue directly, she hopes to prevent further confusion among supporters and observers.

The Kisumu leader reiterated that her focus remains on her public responsibilities rather than personal controversies. She encouraged the public to rely on verified information and avoid spreading assumptions.

For Odinga, transparency is essential, and she considers it her duty to correct claims that misrepresent her relationships.

While the conversation surrounding Salah may continue in some quarters, Odinga’s position is firm. She insists there is no significant personal or professional connection between them and has no interest in prolonging the debate.
