Tension in Kenya Kwanza Government as Plan to Replace Senior State Officer Over Laziness Emerges

Tension is reportedly growing within the Kenya Kwanza government following claims that there is a plan to replace a senior State officer after the 2027 General Election.

According to a report by the Daily Nation published on Sunday, leaders within the ruling coalition have allegedly agreed that the officer will not retain his position once the next elections are over.

The issue has become a major topic of discussion among government insiders, with some leaders saying change is necessary for better service delivery.

As reported by the Daily Nation, several leaders in the Kenya Kwanza administration have accused the senior State officer of being lazy and failing to fully support government programs.

Sources quoted in the report claim that the officer has not been working in line with the government’s agenda. They also allege that he has not been active in empowerment programs meant to help ordinary Kenyans improve their lives.

ne leader reportedly said the government needs hardworking individuals who are committed to delivering results.

The report further claims that the officer has been missing from key government activities and has not shown enough interest in pushing major projects.

This, according to leaders, has raised serious concerns about his commitment to public service. Some feel that his actions have slowed down progress and negatively affected the image of the government.

As a result, there are claims that leaders are already planning to hand over his role to another person after 2027.

However, the situation seems to have taken a new turn after the officer allegedly learned about the plan to replace him.

According to the Daily Nation, he is now appealing to senior leaders within the government to give him a second chance.

The officer is said to have promised to change his ways, work harder, and fully support government agendas going forward.

In an effort to prove his loyalty, the officer reportedly supported a candidate who recently won a by-election. Political observers believe this move was meant to show that he is still relevant and committed to the ruling coalition.

The support is also seen as an attempt to rebuild trust with top leaders who are unhappy with his performance.
