Nandi County Governor, Stephen Sang has revealed plans to vie for MP after serving his 2nd term as the Governor.
The renowned politician who was speaking ahead of the upcoming General Elections in Kenya, revealed that he is 40 years old adding that he is too young to retire.
"I am 40 Years old and currently serving my 2nd and last term as the Governor. I am too young to retire so i am going to vie for MP. I know that this looks like a demotion but i have no option" Nandi County, Governor, Sang.
His remarks caught the attention of section of Kenyans who expressed their concern wanting politicians who have served as Governors to either go home or run for Presidency.
According to the reports given by majority of Kenyans, Majority of politicians in Kenya don't like to retire, they tend to compete with young upcoming politicians who deserve a chance to lead the Nation.
In other news, the President of Kenya, His Excellency, William Ruto has defended SHA days after Former President Uhuru Kenyatta criticized his administration for allegedly replacing the already working programs with untested programs as Kenyans continue to suffer while waiting for the new programs to work.
The Former President mentioned the Linda Mama program which he said was replaced by SHA, a program that is still being tested by the current government.
In response, President William Ruto claimed that over 20 million Kenyans have already registered themselves on SHA because it is serving the people of Kenya.
