“I Kept Failing Interviews Despite Being Qualified" Graduate Shares Experience

My name is Andrew, a graduate from Nairobi, Kenya, and I want to share my story to encourage fellow youths who are struggling with unemployment and repeated interview failures. 

After completing my university studies, I applied for many jobs in different companies, hoping to start my career and support my family. 

I was qualified and confident, but every time I attended an interview, I would end up failing or being rejected without clear reasons. This situation discouraged me and made me feel like my education was going to waste.

Months turned into years, and I was still jobless despite applying everywhere. I attended several interviews, passed some stages, but in the end, I was never selected. 

I watched my classmates get jobs and move on with life while I remained stuck at home, stressed and frustrated. 

The pressure from family and society increased, and I started losing hope of ever getting a stable job.
