"Wacha Drama Bwana" Vocal MCA Calls Out Tuju Over Karen Police Station Drama

MCA Robert Alai has weighed in on the viral video showing former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju at the Karen Police Station, describing the footage as a dramatic display aimed at avoiding accountability.

In a post shared on social media, MCA Alai wrote, “Ameanza drama. Just because he doesn’t want to be held accountable for his actions.

Alai’s comments come in the wake of revelations by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) that Tuju was at his Karen residence throughout the period he was reported missing.

The video at the police station has sparked widespread debate online, with many questioning whether the former CS’s actions were staged to mislead the public.

The MCA emphasized the importance of ensuring that public figures face scrutiny when there are allegations of misconduct.

According to MCA Alai, allowing staged or deceptive acts to go unchallenged sets a dangerous precedent, undermining public trust in institutions meant to uphold the law.

Social media users have reacted strongly to Alai’s post, with many agreeing that the legal system must handle Tuju’s case transparently and fairly.

The controversy has also renewed calls for accountability for those allegedly involved in orchestrating former CS’s purported disappearance.

DCI confirmed that Tuju had been arrested and booked at the Karen Police Station, where he is expected to record a comprehensive statement explaining his whereabouts.

Amin added that the former CS will be expected to explain the circumstances behind the abandoned motor vehicle, the report filed by his family and particulars of the so-called good Samaritan who gave him accommodation in Kiambu.
