Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has reacted to the ongoing conflicts between Iran and Israel.
Sonko provided two interesting points from the ongoing war, one being the fact that Iran is a very strong nation, as it is fighting two nations at the same time.
"Iran is the first country in the world to fight two superpower countries at the same time," Sonko stated.
According to Sonko, taking on two superpowers is a very big act of courage. Even top superpowers like Russia have not been able to do what Iran is doing.
Another point Sonko made was the advancement in technology and how the USA and Israel were able to eliminate Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
He gave an example of how it took former USA President George W. Bush over 8 years to capture the leader of Iraq, Saddam Hussein, with a big number of troops.
However, fast forward to now, the USA eliminated Iran's Khamenei with just a coordinated airstrike.
"President Trump and Israel took out the leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, while we were all sleeping overnight," Sonko narrated.
Sonko is indeed right, as the advancements in technology, especially in the military field, have reduced head-to-head combat fighting. Most of the wars these days are drone and missile coordinated strokes.
