"Lakini Mimi ni Wa Ukweli" Prophet David Owour Reveals Signs and Characteristics of False Prophet By Quoting These Bible Verses

Prophet David Owuor, founder of the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness, continues to deliver stern messages on spiritual discernment. As of early 2026, with fresh investigations into faith healings and past rumors dispelled, Owuor has reiterated the biblical imperative to identify and reject false prophets.

Drawing from his teachings over the years, including calls for national repentance in the face of global judgments, he outlines key indicators of deceptive spiritual figures.

These revelations align with scriptural warnings, such as those in Matthew 24:24, where Jesus cautions that false prophets will perform signs and wonders to deceive even the elect.

Owuor's ministry emphasizes holiness as the cornerstone of true faith, contrasting it sharply with what he describes as "false Christianity" prevalent in modern churches.

In his proclamations, false prophets are characterized by their promotion of a diluted gospel that accommodates sin rather than demanding repentance. One prominent sign he highlights is the preaching of prosperity as the core message of salvation.

Owuor has repeatedly condemned pastors who tell followers they can "sow a seed and harvest money," labeling this as a "gospel of prosperity" that distracts from the cross and the blood of Jesus. He argues that such teachings mislead believers into focusing on material gain, ignoring the call to righteousness and separation from worldly sins.

Another characteristic Owuor points to is the tolerance of immorality within the church. He warns against leaders who accept or overlook sexual sins, including homosexuality and immodest dressing among women.

According to his messages, true prophets rebuke such behaviors, urging the church to shine the "Light of Christ" by upholding moral purity.

False ones, however, preach that people can "live in sin and still go to Heaven," fostering a complacent faith that invites divine judgment. Owuor ties this to broader societal decay, prophesying earthquakes, diseases, and turmoil as consequences for nations that follow these deceptive doctrines.

He has specifically called out American pastors for exporting this "false gospel" globally via Christian television, urging them to repent to avert catastrophe.d69dda
