"Na Bado" Sen. Aaron Cheruiyot Reacts After UDA Aspirants Winning Various Seats in the Four By-election

Kericho county Senator and the majority leader in the Senate Honourable Aaron Cheruiyot. He has reacted hours after UDA Aspirants were declared winners in the four By-elections.

Taking to his official X Handle, Cheruiyot laughed at critics. He claims UDA party still stands ground towards the awaited 2027 General elections.

In his reaction posted on X (formerly Twitter), Senator Cheruiyot congratulated the party and its candidates, stating:

"Today by elections results: Isiolo South MP - UDA ✅, West Kabras MCA - UDA ✅, Muminji MCA - UDA ✅, Evurore MCA - UDA ✅.
Congratulations @UDAKenya... The ground and online noisemakers are water and oil in short. Na Bado!"

The phrase "Na Bado," a Swahili expression meaning "and still" or "more to come," underscores Cheruiyot's confidence in UDA's continued momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Political analysts view these wins as a boost for UDA, especially in light of recent internal party activities, including grassroots elections and aspirants' forums at State House.

Cheruiyot, who has been vocal about the party's people-centered approach, had earlier hailed the high turnout at a UDA aspirants' forum on February 4, 2026, as evidence of public confidence in the party.

The opposition, meanwhile, has been ramping up efforts to challenge Ruto's leadership. Just a day prior, United Opposition leaders held a rally in Ogembo, Kisii County, where Gachagua accused the president of neglecting development in the Rift Valley.

However, today's results suggest that UDA's grassroots strategy is paying off, even in areas outside its traditional strongholds.

These by-election outcomes could set the tone for upcoming political battles, with UDA positioning itself as an "unstoppable force."

As Cheruiyot's post implies, the party's focus remains on tangible results rather than social media noise. With the 2027 elections on the horizon, all eyes will be on how these victories influence broader national dynamics.
