The victim, identified as Caroline Akinyi Ochieng, was a resident of Pinebrook Premier Villas in Kitengela.
According to police reports, Caroling left her home on the day she went missing, but she never returned.
Hours later, residents stumbled upon her body in a bushy area not far from her estate, sparking an immediate investigation.
Detectives quickly narrowed down a suspect, and traced him to Kisumu, where he was arrested while attempting to remain hidden.
Officers confirmed that he was found in possession of the woman’s salon car, which strengthened suspicions about his involvement in the crime.
The suspect was escorted back to Kitengela, where he is expected to face murder charges in court.
The motive behind the killing has not yet been established. Police are continuing their inquiries to determine whether the crime was linked to personal disputes, robbery, or other factors.
