Nairobi Businessman Goes Missing After Leaving Behind Cryptic Letter, Leaves Family Worried

Eliud Kariuki Njinju, a businessman based in Nairobi, has gone missing, leaving his family deeply worried and searching for answers.

Eliud, known for running a phone accessories shop called Phone Trends 254 in Gill House, was last seen on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

His disappearance has left a dark cloud over his family, particularly his wife, Stella Wairimu, and his siblings, David, Charity, and Alfred.

According to reports, Eliud left his shop around 7:30 PM.

He took only his mobile phone with him, leaving behind a handwritten note that has added to their distress.

A family friend named Effie spoke about the troubling note, which has haunted those close to Eliud.

In the letter, he mentioned that he was "very tired" and ended it with a touching "goodbye."

These words have led his family to fear for his emotional well-being and to wonder what could have pushed him to write such a message.

Relatives believe that Eliud may not have been kidnapped, as the items he left behind suggest he left willingly.

However, the uncertainty and fear surrounding his absence have taken a toll on his family, leaving them feeling anxious and confused about his fate.

Stella and the rest of the family are pleading for help.

They urge anyone who might have seen Eliud or has information about his whereabouts to come forward.

They are particularly encouraging people in Nairobi's Central Business District (CBD) to assist in the search.

The family has provided several contact numbers 0710143228, 0724278520, and 0723240852 for people to share any helpful information.

Eliud’s disappearance has raised concerns within the community, especially given that a similar case involving a 13-year-old girl occurred just a day later.
