Political activist, Morara Kebaso, has predicted heartbreaking scenes on TV in 2027, especially for those who dislike President William Ruto.
He says only the youth can now save the country from the approaching tragedy, in reference to Ruto's win and subsequent coronation on live television.
According to him, the opposition has already lost the battle against Ruto, and it is only through a reunion of the youth that he can be voted out.
He has also warned of what he claims are early signs of someone unwilling to leave power, saying there are chances the Head of State might cling onto the Presidency after the end of his second term.
"We can still discover our mistakes and make a comeback. But if don’t, we will watch tragedy on television in 2027 and the swearing in of a person we will not be sure if he can vacate power after this," he says on X.
This follows a report by The Star which suggests that Ruto is headed for a win, judging by the current electoral numbers.
The report shows that he is ahead of the united opposition, especially with the entry of the Luo Nyanza region.
