"You Can Only Incite Fools" How Alai Reacted After MP Babu Publicly Claimed That His Life Is In Danger Ahead Of Raila's Burial

Robert Alai has come out strongly to dismiss Babu Owino’s claims that his life is in danger. Earlier, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino said that some people were planning to attack him before Raila Odinga’s burial. He said he feared for his life and that he had noticed strange people following him.

But Alai did not believe any of that. He quickly went online and said Babu was only trying to look like a victim so that people could feel sorry for him.

Alai said, “This is how, without any ideological grounding and since he has only empty slogans, this is how he incites fools to believe in him.” His words were heavy, and they caused a lot of reactions from Kenyans online.

Some people supported Alai and said he was telling the truth, while others defended Babu Owino, saying that Alai was being too harsh on a man who was only trying to protect himself.

According to Alai, Babu is a man who talks too much but has no real ideas or plans. He said Babu likes to use big words and make noise to keep people talking about him.

Alai added that this habit of creating fear and shouting about danger is one of Babu’s ways of staying relevant in politics. He said Babu should stop drama and focus on real work for the people who elected him.

Babu Owino, on his side, has not stopped saying that he is not safe. He said he has been receiving threats and that he believes some powerful people want to harm him. He asked Kenyans to pray for him and said that he will not stop speaking the truth even if his life is at risk.

The argument between Alai and Babu has divided Kenyans online. Some said Alai should have shown kindness and supported Babu at such a hard time.

Others said Alai was right because Babu always makes loud claims without proof. For now, Babu insists his life is in danger, while Alai still says it is just another empty story meant to get attention.
