“What I Did To Make My Inlaws Love Me So Much” Ugandan Lady Tells

My name is Grace, and I come from Mbarara, Uganda. I got married to a wonderful man whom I love deeply, but like many women, I had one challenge that made me cry silently every day.

My in-laws never accepted me. From the day I entered the family, I felt like an outsider. They always criticized me, compared me to other women, and even accused me of things I had never done.

Family gatherings were the worst for me because I always felt unwanted and unappreciated. I tried my best to be a good wife and daughter-in-law, but no matter what I did, it was never enough for them.

I remember one painful day when my mother-in-law openly told me that I was not the right wife for her son. Those words cut through my heart like a knife. I spent nights crying, asking myself what I had done wrong.

My husband supported me, but even he was torn between me and his family. It was affecting our marriage and our peace at home. I prayed for change, but the more I tried, the worse it seemed to get. I was close to giving up when something unexpected happened.

Through a close friend in Kampala, I came to know about. Click here.
