"They Abandoned Him" Renowned MCA Calmly Criticizes Ruto, Govt Officials For Failing to Visit Raila in Hospital

Kileleshwa member of county assembly, Honorable Robert Alai has expressed his concern following the death of the former prime minister of Kenya, Honorable Raila Odinga who died at a hospital in India, on October 15th, 2025.

Sources have confirmed that the deceased succumbed to heart disease after collapsing while taking a walk in an incident that caught the attention of Kenyans who took to social media platforms to mourn him.

Kileleshwa member of county assembly, Honorable Robert in a post on Facebook demanded to know why the former prime minister of Kenya was only accompanied by his Daughter Winnie, Adhiambo and his bodyguard Ogeta.

According to Alai, Raila Odinga who was known for working with majority of people in Kenya did not have any other person in his company before his untimely death.

Kileleshwa member of county assembly, Honorable Robert Alai :" What Hurts me is that no senior religious leader visited the former prime minister of Kenya at the Hospital.

Our leaders are also selfish, why is it that none of them visited Raila Odinga, was he only important when he giving them chances in politics. Baba died in the company of two family members and his bodyguard ".

This is happening at the same time when Ida Odinga has urged Kenyans to forgive her family explaining that they did not know that he was going to pass away in such a manner.

Her remarks were seconded by Orange Democratic Movement party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, who said that they spoke to the former prime minister of Kenya a day before his death.
