Nakuru Businesswoman Accuses Best Friend of Stealing Her Hubby: 'Nilipata Bwana Yangu Akitoka Kwake Asubuhi'

A Nakuru businesswoman, Winfred Wacira, has been left devastated after discovering that her own best friend was secretly involved with her husband — a man she had trusted for years.

Speaking with Pulse News, Winfred narrated how a simple act of kindness turned into the greatest heartbreak of her life.

Winfred said she first met her friend at a time when the woman was struggling to make ends meet. Out of kindness, she offered her food and helped her get a small job to sustain herself.

Their friendship grew strong, and Winfred even introduced her to her church and family.

Everything seemed normal until one day, Winfred had a small disagreement with her husband. Unknown to her, her friend became the person her husband started confiding in.

“I thought she was helping us sort our issues, but I later realized she was helping herself to my husband,” Winfred painfully recalled.

The truth came out one afternoon when Winfred saw her husband leaving the friend’s house.

“Nilipata bwana yangu akitoka kwake. I felt my heart drop. I couldn’t believe that the same woman I helped had betrayed me like that,” she said.

After the affair began, Winfred’s husband slowly pulled away from home responsibilities. He stopped providing for the family and spent most of his time away, leaving her to take care of their children alone.

“It was painful watching everything I built fall apart because of two people I loved and trusted,” she shared.

The betrayal left Winfred emotionally drained, but she says it also taught her a powerful lesson about trust and forgiveness.

“Not everyone who smiles with you means well. Some are only waiting for a chance to break what you have,” she advised.
