Kileleshwa MCA, Robert Alai, has thrown a tough warning at Governor Sakaja, saying MCAs are ready to kick him out if he doesn’t change how he runs things in the next two months.
Speaking on a local TV station on Monday, September 8, 2025, Alai accused Sakaja of being arrogant and disrespectful to MCAs, claiming he feels untouchable because he thinks he controls the majority side in the assembly.
Alai said: “Sakaja has been really arrogant and rough with MCAs because he thought he had the majority secured. That’s why Raila told him to apologize and actually act on what the MCAs have raised.”
He also added that even though people claim the earlier impeachment push was stopped because of bribes, MCAs are still serious about holding him accountable.
“If impeachment was stopped because money exchanged hands, that’s just a story. We’re telling Sakaja again if he doesn’t change in the next two months (which he won’t), we’ll impeach him,” Alai warned.
