The incident has drawn attention from the public, with many expressing both concern and support for her.
The nun, identified as Reverend Sister Kinse Shako Annastasia, had recently announced her dismissal from her Catholic community following a controversial post she shared on Facebook.
In the middle of adjusting to her new reality, she found herself in another unsettling situation on the road.
According to her account, she was leaving Auchi when the vehicle she boarded suddenly developed a fault. Passengers were left anxious as the driver stopped to check what had gone wrong.
Annastasia recalled that men came to inspect the vehicle, trying to determine if it was safe to continue the journey. She admitted she was deeply shaken by the incident but later thanked God that the problem was not serious and she managed to arrive safely at her destination.
In a video she shared online, she explained that the fear of the unknown was overwhelming at that moment.
“I was really scared, but I thank God I reached home safely,” she said.
Despite the safe arrival, Annastasia revealed that she is still struggling emotionally after her dismissal from the Catholic congregation.
In a separate post, she narrated how she absentmindedly asked her cousin to help iron her white religious habit, only to remember that she was no longer a nun. The realization, she said, hit her hard.
She also mentioned some of the painful remarks made by people close to her after the dismissal. Some told her she had only herself to blame, while others suggested those supporting her online would eventually abandon her. These comments, she said, added to her emotional burden.
The nun has also made concerning claims about her time in the church. In another public statement, she alleged that she had been harassed by Catholic priests and a layman at a Catholic university. She warned that if anything happened to her, the truth was already documented and justice should follow.
Her revelations have sparked mixed reactions online. While some people advised her to stay strong and trust in God, others encouraged her to seek justice and healing. Supporters flooded her social media pages with words of encouragement, reminding her that God never abandons his own.
One supporter wrote, “This is just the beginning of something greater. God has plans for you, and this dismissal may turn out to be a blessing in disguise.” Another encouraged her to remain courageous, saying she would eventually overcome the challenges. Click here.
