Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has sparked fresh political debate after claiming that Edwin Sifuna could be in danger if he continues using planes to attend political events.
Speaking during a political engagement, Gachagua alleged that the current political environment had become increasingly risky for opposition leaders and warned Sifuna to reconsider how he travels around the country.
According to Gachagua, travelling by air could expose political figures to security threats, urging the Nairobi senator to begin using road transport instead.
“Sifuna should stop flying to political meetings. Using planes might put his life at risk,” Gachagua reportedly warned while addressing supporters.
