Mwangi Kiunjuri Reveals What Gachagua Has Been Sending Them On Their Phones

Mwangi Kiunjuri has opened up about the growing political tensions within the Mount Kenya region, claiming that former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been sending messages to leaders while demanding loyalty and political recognition.

Speaking on the ongoing leadership struggles in the region, Kiunjuri said divisions among leaders have complicated efforts to create unity and have also contributed to uncertainty over who should emerge as the dominant political voice in Mount Kenya ahead of the 2027 General Election.

According to Kiunjuri, Gachagua has been attempting to rally leaders from the region together following his fallout with President William Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza administration. 

However, he argued that the approach being used risks creating further divisions instead of bringing leaders together.
