Mugambi Rindikiri has defended his close working relationship with President William Ruto, insisting that his priority is securing development projects and improving the lives of residents in Buuri Constituency.
Speaking during a public participation forum on the proposed upgrade of the seven-kilometre Maili Kumi-Barrier road, the legislator said leadership should focus on delivering services rather than engaging in endless political battles.
Rindikiri stated that he was prepared to do whatever was necessary to ensure the constituency benefits from national government projects, particularly infrastructure development aimed at boosting transport and economic activities in the area.
“The work of a leader is to bring development to the people. If I have to kneel before President Ruto so that Buuri gets roads and other projects, I will do it,” the MP said during the meeting.
