Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has announced he will use a calm and solution-based approach as he prepares for the 2027 general election.

He made the statement on Saturday, July 26, 2025, while speaking at a public forum covered by Tuko.News.

Matiang’i said he plans to stay away from the loud and confrontational style used by some politicians, including President William Ruto, Raila Odinga, and Rigathi Gachagua.
