Pressure has been mounting on the Ruto PS to step aside after being linked to the attack especially from Opposition Leaders who have accused him of being being behind the attack that left Osotsi nursing injuries in Hospital.
However, PS Raymond Omollo has broken his silence and equally condemned the attack.
Despite being accused of being behind the attack, Omollo made it clear that political goonism will not be tolerated.
Omollo warned that any individual or leader who engages in goonism or facilitates it in any way will be held accountable in accordance with the law.
"Criminal gangs and political goonism are a national challenge and will not be tolerated. Any individual or leader who engages in or facilitates such acts will be held accountable in accordance with the law." PS Raymond Omollo.
The warning by Omollo follows a recent brutal attack on Senator Godfrey Osotsi in Kisumu County. CCTV Captured scary scenes as a group of goons arriving at restaurant before mercilessly attacking Osotsi leaving him nursing serious injuries.
The incident sparked outrage among Kenyans, with Opposition leaders accusing PS Raymond Omollo of being behind the attack. However, Omollo has indirectly denied being behind the attack and warned that any leader or individual behind the attack will be held accountable.
