"Sio Pesa Tunataka" Woman Claiming to Be Bahati’s Sister Emerges After DNA Results, Dismiss This Claim

The family saga surrounding Kenyan gospel singer Kevin Bahati has taken a new twist after another woman emerged claiming to be his biological sister, just days after DNA results dismissed earlier claims made by a woman who alleged she was his mother.

The controversy began when a woman identified as Judith Makokha publicly claimed she was Bahati’s biological mother.

The claims attracted widespread attention on social media, prompting the singer to agree to a DNA test in order to confirm the allegations.

However, the test results reportedly showed that there was no biological connection between the two. The outcome left Makokha visibly emotional, as she insisted the results might have been manipulated, a claim Bahati dismissed.

Despite the conclusion of the DNA test, a new woman has now surfaced online alleging she is Bahati’s sister and defending Makokha’s earlier claims.

In a video that quickly went viral on TikTok, the woman expressed disappointment with the DNA results and questioned why the public and the singer doubted her family’s claims.

According to her, Makokha’s intentions were genuine and were never motivated by financial gain or Bahati’s fame.

“You are telling me Bahati is not my brother, but can’t you see the resemblance?” the woman asked in the video while addressing social media users.

She insisted that her alleged mother would not make such claims without reason, adding that the family’s primary goal was simply to reconnect with someone they believed to be their relative.

“We are not after the money. We are after our brother’s love,” she said, emphasising that the family wanted a relationship rather than financial support.

The woman also suggested that external forces may have influenced the outcome of the DNA test, hinting that the results might not have reflected the true situation.

“My instincts tell me Bahati is my brother, and you are not going to convince me otherwise,” she stated.

The video quickly attracted mixed reactions online, with some social media users expressing sympathy while others questioned the continued claims after the DNA results were released.

Bahati later reshared the video on his own social media platforms, responding briefly to the renewed claims. The singer appeared to signal that the matter had already been resolved following the DNA test.

“DNA results were released. Let me rest now,” he wrote.

The drama surrounding Bahati’s family background has generated intense discussion among fans, especially because the singer has previously shared emotional stories about losing his mother when he was young and growing up in difficult circumstances.

Makokha had earlier explained that she met the man she believed to be Bahati’s father in the early 1990s after moving from Western Kenya to Nairobi in search of employment.

According to her account, the two developed a relationship and lived together for several months before eventually separating.

With the emergence of the new claimant, the debate about Bahati’s family ties continues to stir reactions online, even as the singer insists that the DNA results should put the matter to rest.
