Mystery Deepens as Netanyahu’s Social Media Silence Sparks Speculation About His Health

Fresh debate has erupted online after a report suggested unusual changes in the social media activity of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The discussion intensified shortly after Iran’s powerful military wing, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), issued a strong warning against the Israeli leader, vowing to “hunt him down and kill him.”

The claims were highlighted in an analysis published by the Iranian outlet Tasnim News Agency, which compared Netanyahu’s recent online behavior with his activity during a previous conflict between Israel and Iran.

According to the report, Netanyahu was highly active on social media during the 12-day war with Iran in June 2025. At the time, he posted at least one message daily on his official accounts, with some days seeing as many as six posts.

For instance, he posted three times on March 13, once on March 14, and four times on March 15. In the following days leading up to June 23, the number of posts varied between one and six per day, totaling about 32 posts during that conflict period.

However, the latest analysis claims that his online presence has significantly declined since the new round of hostilities between Israel and Iran began on February 28 this year.

During the current conflict, Netanyahu has reportedly made only 15 posts—less than half the number recorded during the previous war.

Another notable change highlighted in the report is the format of his posts. Previously, most of Netanyahu’s updates included videos of him speaking directly to the public.

Recently, however, many of the posts appear to be text-based. The few videos that have been shared do not indicate when they were recorded, leading some commentators to speculate that one recent video might have been generated using artificial intelligence (AI).

The report also noted that nearly three days have passed without any new social media post from Netanyahu—something considered unusual during times of major national crises.

These developments have fueled speculation across Hebrew- and English-language media platforms and social networks, with some users suggesting the possibility that Netanyahu may have been injured or even killed.

However, it is important to note that there has been no official confirmation or denial from the Israeli government regarding these claims, leaving the circulating rumors unverified for now.
