A new opinion poll by Mizani Africa paints a picture of a highly competitive parliamentary contest in Embakasi East Constituency, with a staggering 33.7 percent of voters yet to make up their minds, leaving the race wide open ahead of the upcoming election.
According to results shared on the firm's official X account, Francis Mureithi currently leads the pack with 30.7 percent support. Ricardo Nyantika follows closely at 23.7 percent, while Cosmo Choy trails with 11.9 percent.
The poll, which comes amid reports that incumbent MP Babu Owino may be eyeing a different elective seat, underscores the fluid nature of the contest.
Mizani Africa described the race as highly unpredictable, noting that the large bloc of undecided voters holds decisive power in determining who will succeed the current lawmaker.
With no candidate commanding an outright majority, the outcome remains entirely dependent on which way the undecided voters swing in the final stretch.
As the election draws nearer, all three candidates are expected to intensify campaigns to sway the undecided bloc that could ultimately shape the constituency's next leadership.
