Siaya County Senator Oburu Odinga, who is the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader, has dismissed claims by the Linda Mwananchi ODM faction and other opposition leaders, that he is taking instructions from state house on how to run the orange party.

According to a report by the Star Newspaper, Oburu has shunned claims that he is running ODM through Ruto's directives from state house.

The ODM leader has argued that he is instead making his own independent decisions, based on what he believes is right for his constituents.

He cannot lead his people to a wrong direction as his opponents are claiming, and he cannot take instructions from state house on what to do with ODM.

According to him, he believes that his constituents should remain in Ruto's side and be in government even after next year's polls.
