"We Will Shock You" Mwangi Kiunjuri Alleges What the Mountain Might Chose to do to Gachagua If He Will Continue Criticising Ruto

Laikipia East Member of Parliament Mwangi Kiunjuri has regretted that some misdeeds by the government, such as the disruption of meetings organised by the Democracy for Citizens' Party Leader Rigathi Gachagua, are making the latter gain political sympathy.

Speaking to Inooro TV on Sunday during its Kiririmbi show, Mwangi described the acts of commission or omission by some government agencies on Rigathi Gachagua as 'own goals', which makes Ruto's momentum in the Mt Kenya region go down.

"Our people have ears, and they listen to what the government does. Apart from how sometimes we score our own goals. For instance, we saw what happened in Witima; such incidents make us, in government, draw back some miles.

"Apart from these own goals, which I believe the government can correct before that time, our locals will be able to judge accordingly," Kiunjuri said.

However, the outspoken lawmaker has predicted that things will be soon in the coming days, adding that the revival of Mau Mau roads alongside the completion of the Kenol-Sagana road will see the electorate view him on another side.

He has said that the positive thing about the Mt Kenya region is that voters judge someone by the ability they have when it comes to bringing development projects in the area.
