Reports indicate that Moses collapsed on the evening of Wednesday, February 4, shortly after experiencing breathing difficulties.
Efforts to rush him to a nearby hospital were unsuccessful, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
“It is with deep sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved son, Moses Muthama Nduya, who passed on yesterday,” Muthama wrote.
He described Moses as a joyful and diligent young man, expressing the pain of losing him at such a young age. “Though our hearts are heavy, we entrust him to God’s loving care. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” he added.
Moses Nduya Muthama was the only child of Johnson Muthama and Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu Muthama.
His untimely death has sent shockwaves across Machakos County and beyond, with friends, political colleagues, members of the public sharing messages of condolences and support for the grieving family.
