Sifuna, who was speaking during an interview on Citizen TV Kenya, called on President Ruto's administration to handle the issue of extrajudicial killings and police brutality.
According to reports, postmortem results of the two victims killed at Kiwanja area in Kahawa, Kiambu County on Sunday show multiple injuries consistent with assault.
The pathologist said the two were also forced to swallow uncooked maize and pepper.
The deceased, identified as 45-year-old Daniel Nuthu Njoki and 29-year-old James Muraga Maina, were beaten to death on February 1, 2026, allegedly by a team of police officers prior to their death.
The grieving families demanded justice, wanting to know why they were not arrested.
Witnesses who recounted the incident said the suspects were officers involved after the two victims were accused of stealing maize from a farm in the area.
Activist Hussein Khalid said the Independent Policing Oversight Authority is investigating the incident.
