Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late former Lugari Member of Parliament Cyrus Jirongo at their Nairobi residence as mourning continues ahead of his burial.
Mudavadi visited the Gigiri home shortly after returning from an official overseas assignment, where he met the three widows and close family members to convey his personal sympathy and that of the government.
During the visit he urged the family to remain strong and united as they navigate the difficult period of grief while final burial arrangements continue.
He encouraged them to draw strength from faith and family bonds as preparations progress for Jirongo's final send-off at his rural home in Lugari, Kakamega County.

He noted that Jirongo played a significant role during key political moments in the country and was known for his bold approach to leadership and engagement with people across communities.
The Prime Cabinet Secretary also extended special words of comfort to Christine Nyokabi, Anne Lanoi and Anne Kanini, acknowledging the weight of loss faced by the widows and their children.
