A dramatic scene unfolded in Narok after former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua outsmarted police roadblocks aimed at stopping his campaign rallies ahead of the upcoming by-elections.
According to a report by 24 TV, the government had deployed police officers in Narok, waiting to intercept Rigathi and his crew.
Rigathi managed to bypass the roadblock by boarding a matatu with civilians and proceeded to hold his rally.
On November 24, 2025, he took to his social media platforms , accusing President William Ruto of orchestrating the blockade.
Rigathi claimed the President William Ruto's administration wouldn't stop him from moving around the country, saying they couldn't outdo him.
He urged Narok residents to vote for the DCP candidate, stating the government's attempts to halt his campaigns were a sign they sensed defeat.
Rigathi acknowledged police presence, alleging they had tried to disrupt his rallies by firing teargas at attendees on several occasions.
